Okta and Box team up for identity and security on Box for EMM

Identity and mobility management provider Okta has announced a partnership with Box to offer access to the cloud storage firm’s EMM product while shoring up employee security and data from every endpoint.

Cisco continues to beat Microsoft for enterprise collaboration, argues research

Cisco has extended its lead over Microsoft in the collaboration space, according to the latest note from analyst house Synergy Research.

The research, which analysed Q4 data, found Cisco’s on-premise solutions to give the San Jose firm the slight advantage over Microsoft. Despite this, revenues from hosted and cloud solutions went up 10% year on year, while premise systems declined by 3%. Avaya, the third ranked vendor overall, trails considerably behind.
