Akumina releases native enterprise mobile app support for iOS and Android
Digital workplace software solutions provider Akumina has announced product enhancements which offer native enterprise mobile support for Apple iOS and Android for its workplace customers globally.
The new product enhancements offer employees with increased ease to access appropriate enterprise applications and information – the advances allows access at any time, in any language and on any device – either via conventional responsive design or through native mobile app solutions on iOS and Google Android platforms.
Akumina president David Maffei commented: “The speed of delivery of these applications—combined with the personal nature of the approach—expands the ability to leverage mobile applications across additional enterprise scenarios. These deployments were often not previously feasible due to costs of implementation and time. Our customers aren’t looking for a generic software vendor ‘mobile app.’ They are looking for their mobile app—one created specifically for their employees. When it comes to native mobility, Akumina shines brightest in the market.”
The new release has helped Akumina in developing a quick and repeatable approach to enabling fully-functional, native mobile applications which can offer all its enterprise digital workplace software platform capabilities through iOS or Android devices. With true enterprise deployment, the digital workplace software solutions provider is delivering a “non-one-size-fits-all” type native application to employees throughout the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
Separately, Akumina has reported record-growth during FY/2017 ending 31 December 2017 driven be a number of factors including increased enterprise customer takeover; strategic collaboration with Avanade and further alignment with Microsoft. For the year, Akumina realised top-line sales growth of 204% year-over-year and yearly recurring revenue increase of 273% year-over-year.
